DANIEL W. JAY, P.E., CFM    -   President Daniel W. Jay, P.E., CFM is the President of Jay Engineering Ltd. and has been engaged in numerous municipal and civil engineering projects including site review and development, water resources, subdivision design, stormwater management, utility design and maintenance, and flood studies. As a former Director of Engineering for the County of Will, Mr. Jay accomplished several substantial municipal endeavors including the initiation and formation of the Will County Engineering Division responsible for all platting and site development in unincorporated Will County.  He also had significant involvement in the initiation and development of the Will County GIS System, the Will County Stormwater Management Committee, the Will County Resource Work Committee, and the Will County Benchmark Project. In addition to his municipal endeavors, Mr. Jay has over 20 years experience in the consulting business providing both private and public clients with quality engineering solutions.  His mix of experience provides for a well balanced approach to design and approval process interaction. Mr. Jay is an ongoing member of the Will County Resource Work Committee and has co-authored the publication titled “Field Tile Survey”.  He ran for office in 2009 and was elected as the Wesley Township Supervisor.    He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, and is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Floodplain Manager in the State of Illinois.
